Mermaid | Merino Sock Lifeboat

Mermaid is hand dyed on our Lifeboat, a soft 4-ply fingering weight of smooth round superwash merino with nylon for added strength. It is a greenish teal semi solid with blue. It's on a popular sock base, but would look wonderful around the neck, a hat or pretty mittens.

Lifeboat yarn, as you just cannot be without sock yarn in your stash.

This is superwash yarn, but I *highly* recommend gentle hand washing to preserve the fibers, colors & your hours into your creation. No twisting/wringing or hot water.

Yarn is hand dyed, variations can occur. I use professional acid dyes & I do not add anything to the process in terms of washes or scents. The whole process is done indoors at my home studio, it is not dried outside, although it is a cat-friendly, non-smoking place.
