Ghost Ship is hand dyed on our Container Ship, a soft 4-ply worsted weight of smooth round superwash merino. A great light neutral pairing a smoky grey brown like a ghost ship passing through the mist. Almost anything (from cars, electronics & clothing) that fits can be put into a shipping container, loaded onto a container ship by the thousands & shipped around the world. That's pretty versatile... kinda like worsted weight yarn. You can find a pattern in any category for worsted weight yarn, from winter bed socks, sweaters to accessories. Beginners to advanced crafters can enjoy this yarn. This is in stock ready to ship!! These two skeins were dyed together & are same dyelot. HOWEVER, if you choose to use them for the same project think about alternating rows, etc. as the dye process can still make these quite different from each other. This is ready to ship. ******************************************************************** This is superwash yarn, but I *highly* recommend gentle hand washing to preserve the fibers, colors & your hours into your creation. No twisting/wringing or hot water. Yarn is hand dyed, variations can occur. I use professional acid dyes & I do not add anything to the process in terms of washes or scents. The whole process is done indoors at my home studio, it is not dried outside, although it is a cat-friendly, non-smoking place. **I do my best to accurately portray this yarn to my ability.
