ChiaoGoo TWIST interchangeable cables are high quality, flexible & memory-free! They consist of a multi-strand, steel cable coated with red nylon. Lifeline holes can be found at each end of these cables. Insert the T-shaped tightening key into the lifeline hole to assist with securing your tip/cable connection. SPIN tips will work with TWIST cables.
Order by tip size (code size labelled for reference: Mini [M], Small [S] or Large [L]).
4" & 5" tips
- MINI: sizes, US 000-1.5 (1.5-2.5 mm)
- SMALL: sizes US 2-8 (2.75-5.0 mm)
- LARGE: sizes US 9-15 (5.5 mm+)
2" & 3" Shortie tips
- MINI: sizes, US 000-3 (1.5-3.25 mm)
- SMALL: sizes US 4-8 (3.5-5.0 mm)
- LARGE: not currently made in sizes over US 8.
Tunisian Hook Tips (5.7" tips)
- SMALL: sizes E, F, G, 7 & H (3.5 mm-5.0 mm)
- LARGE: sizes I-N (5.5 mm-10.0 mm)
So many possibilities to make your own circular lengths.
An 8″ (20 cm) cable will make a 16" (40 cm) circular when two 4″ (10 cm) tips are attached.
A 14″ (35 cm) cable will make a 24″ (60 cm) circular when two 5″ (13 cm) tips are attached.
A 22″ (55 cm) cable will make a 32″ (80 cm) circular when two 5″ (13 cm) tips are attached.
Choose:
2" (5 cm) Mini only, packaged 3 per pack; this will allow knitters to make interchangeable flexible double points if they desire with any length of TWIST or SPIN interchangeable tips.
5" (13 cm) Mini only.
6" (15 cm) Mini only.
[5" & 6" are meant for the Shorties or as extensions to another MINI cables with the use of a MINI cable connector. Minis are NOT compatible with the Small [S] or Large [L] without adapters.]
